Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure to clean the refrigerator and freezer compartments regularly. Use warm soapy water for the outer cabinet and avoid abrasive products to prevent damage.
Defrosting
Periodically defrost the freezer to maintain efficiency. The refrigerator automatically defrosts every time the compressor stops, but ensure the defrost water discharge hole is not obstructed.
Temperature Settings
Adjust the thermostat to the correct temperature setting as per your needs, ensuring it is not set too high to avoid excessive energy consumption. The thermostat has 6 positions, with 6 being the coldest.
Ventilation
Ensure the refrigerator is positioned with adequate space for airflow around it, as per installation instructions. Do not obstruct the bottom grill to allow proper air circulation.
Avoid Overloading
Do not overload the refrigerator or freezer, as it hampers air circulation and affects cooling efficiency. Ensure food is spaced out and air can circulate freely.
